A Legacy of Family Business and Expertise
Hagen’s Glass and Paint story began in 1947 when Paul Fahlstrom Sr. founded the Wood Service Company, a business specializing in woodworking, auto glass, carpentry, and partial glass services. In the early 1960s, Dwayne Hagen purchased the company and expanded its offerings to include window and door replacements. Dwayne grew the business with his wife, Charlene, by adding paint and wallpaper services.
In 2000, Dwayne’s sons, Mark and Jeff Hagen, took the reins, renaming the business Hagen’s Glass and Paint and solidifying its reputation for exceptional service. Joint ownership changes occurred in 2021. Jeff Hagen has returned to involvement with the Cloquet store as Interim Manager, working alongside Robin Foucault, Hagen’s Bookkeeper, to support the dedicated team of nine employees.
